We are looking for a qualified Information Technology and Process Business Analyst to join a team dedicated to a business value addition project related to process improvement and IT solutions. The Process and IT business analyst is involved in one or more of the following activities: Identification of stakeholder needs, end user needs studies, process definitions, pre-studies, process modeling and design and of solutions. The successful candidate must able to understand business objectives and stakeholder needs related to various local or global business processes, services and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out studies and evaluation ensuring that important user needs are met by the final work solution
• Perform pilots designed to meet user needs and goals
• Ensure that the requirements are understood and usable by the application development team.
• Organize and lead acceptance testing meetings (UAT)
• Create and maintain communication channels for end users to ensure that everyone working with the solution understands the deployed solution
• Support consistency with overall processes and application usage
• Propose changes that make the software product more efficient and / or reduce operating or maintenance costs
• Continuously work to improve existing working methods
• Facilitate local or global workshops
• Lead change initiatives

Trainings and Experiences

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field or equivalent training
• 10 years and more of experience as a business, systems or functional analyst
• Experience in analysis and production of requirements with standard methodologies. (Ex: UML, SysML, BMN…)
• Experience in continuous improvement, project management and change management
• Experience in the deployment of new methodologies, training and support in a professional and technical environment
• Experience in the field of transport vehicles
• Experience in product development methodology. (SDLC, SAD, RUP, NDP, others.)
• Experience in the product environment will be considered an asset

Knowledge and Skills

• Experience on projects involving the development of embedded software solutions (Vehicle, manufacturing product, special infrastructure) will be considered an asset.
• Experience in complex product development (PLM) solutions and after-sales support (Warranty, Parts, Diagnostics) will also be highly regarded.
• Excellent ability to work in a team
• Leadership by influence in a multidisciplinary context and assumption of responsibilities
• Priority management and flexibility in tasks, new challenges
• Strong ability to adapt to changes
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to communicate easily and influence at all hierarchical levels
