Mission:
As part of the team reporting to the Director, Tracks and Wheels
Development – Agriculture, the selected candidate’s primary mandate
will be to support innovation and new product development for
Agriculture Tracks and Wheels.
Responsibilities:
- Participate actively in the innovation of our products and in development of new technologies;
- Facilitate the integration of new technologies into our products by working with the Advance Technology group:
- Establish links with research partners and prepare subsidies requests;
- Develop tracks and wheel for our OEM customers (Original Equipment Manufacturer);
- Develop the risk analysis and validation plans associated with the changes;
- Lead efforts to resolve issues with current products for external and internal clients;
- Develop and maintain a technology watch on the performance and durability of the competition’s products in the agricultural market;
- Manage his competencies improvement.
Requirements:
- You have a master’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science;
- You have 7 to 10 years of engineering experience;
- You are a member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (OIQ);
- You have knowledge of rubber and polymer components, an asset;
- You have proven knowledge of tools used for improving processes and solving problems, knowledge of 6 sigma principles is an asset;
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken;
- You frequently use the Office suite and have a knowledge of CREO and Windchill software (an asset);
- You are willing to travel outside the country when necessary, about 10% of the time (mainly to the US);
- You are able to manage several requests simultaneously;
- You communicate effectively with peers, management and clients.
