WSP is seeking an IT Project Manager to work on IT Projects. The preferable location for this opportunity is Vancouver, but we will also consider excellent candidates from Calgary, Toronto, or Montreal

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, execute, monitor and close IT projects
• Track and manage project budget, schedule, Scope, KPI’s and Risks
• Coordinate with Vendors
• Participate, lead and coordinate status meetings for team members and stakeholder management
• Complete status reports
• Manage project financials and ensure resolution of anomalies
• Other duties as assigned/required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Project Management (PM) certification or education such as PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Masters degree in PM
• Agile Certification considered and asset
• Bilingual in English and French is an asset

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years total experience in at least two of the following three types of IT projects: Application Projects, Information Management Projects, and Infrastructure Projects
• 2+ years working in agile projects

SKILLS

• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently and efficiently.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to resolve conflicts and problems to achieve results
• Self-starter with common sense and able to act on own initiative
