The Analyst is responsible for supporting the execution of the buying and support services functions. Other responsibilities include supporting procurement activities across TSG and for our clients.

Please note: this is a 2 month CONTRACT role from July 5 to September 10, 2021.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to a work environment that supports a motivated, productive team.

  • Escalate issues that require higher authority for input and resolution to Manager.
  • Participate in Procurement and Finance cross functional team.
  • Support the purchasing for respective categories, including standard business hardware, standard business software and wireless devices.
  • Support TSG Project Managers with the purchasing of the categories of standard business hardware, software, wireless telecom, and wireline telecom.
  • Support the IT tech teams with the delivery of hardware and provide ETA’s for purchases.
  • Monitor client stakeholder compliance to purchasing channels.
  • Support ongoing negotiations with selected vendors to tactically procure materials / services when needed.
  • Document resolutions of purchasing and Accounts Payable issues and complaints from clients and provide general client support.
  • Gather incoming service requests from clients and provide input on applicability to purchasing processes.
  • Ensure the reliability, management, improvement, and accuracy of spend data.
  • Facilitate internal compliance with Procurement policies, procedures, strategies, and guidelines on an ongoing basis.
  • Direct client stakeholders to appropriate resources for guidance, coaching and support with regards to purchasing and support services.
  • Timely and accurate responses to client stakeholder questions
  • Execute responsibilities with regards to process improvement as directed by Manager
  • Provide insights on process improvements to Manager.

  • 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management and / or purchasing.
  • Previous knowledge in IT procurement would be preferred.
  • Knowledge of key Source-to-Pay capabilities, including procure-to-pay, and analytics, preferred.
  • Post-secondary Business background preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products and / or advanced training in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
