About This Opportunity

A key member of Coke Canada’s Financial Services team, the successful candidate will be responsible of providing strong and direct support to the Canada Sales and Finance organizations in managing Collections and Deductions across all Customer Segments (National, Local and Distributor) with direct accountability on meeting Currency, Past Due and Loss Control targets.

Strong communication and leadership skills are required to connect with stakeholders across the organization and providing daily direction and guidance for our Outsourced Collections Team.

Responsibilities

  • Working as a team with the Director | Treasury, Manager – Financial Services and an Outsourced Collections Team responsible for management of an AR portfolio of $200 – $250M
  • Directly support the Daily Collection and Deduction Management process through interaction with our Outsourced Collection Team and as key liaison between Coke Canada Sales and all collection activities meeting Monthly, Quarterly and Annual goals
  • Perform deep reviews of Key Customer Accounts for Collection & Deduction issues followed by cohesive plans to resolve aged balances with timely collection of past due amounts
  • Participate in build of Weekly Communication Deck and Monthly Review with Sr Leadership to publish & review results, update on issues and set actions
  • Build and leverage key relationships with Sales and Customer to ensure successful resolution of open, aged receivables and disputed deductions
  • Learn and become expert in Collections and Deduction system tools and data sets; use to design enhanced reporting driving better Currency and Reduced Loss

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required with a concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint preferred
  • Direct experience with AR Collections and Deduction Management tied to National level Customers required – minimum 3 years experience
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work directly with National Customers
  • SAP work experience preferred
  • Ability to provide creative strategic and value-added insights
  • Proven effective written and oral communication skills
