POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a permanent part-time opportunity that offers full benefits, discounted stock purchasing plan, training and career growth.

In this general labor type of role you will be responsible for loading/unloading sorting and scanning international packages within a warehouse environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday(5 days a week)
• Start time: 5:30 PM
• Flexibility required – Shifts are 3-5 hours in length

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Loading and unloading packages by hand onto or off of trucks

Organizing and stacking packages to fit as many onto each truck

Scanning packages based on postal codes

Able to lift 70lbs

Working in the UPS warehouse – hot and cold temperatures

Learning UPS package handling procedures

Working in a very fast-paced position which is physically demanding

Washing trucks inside and out

COMPENSATION

$15.00 an hour to start

Guaranteed wage progression per Union Collective Agreement

Paid weekly every Friday

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted

Full availability to work Monday to Friday (shift is 3-5 hours daily) in a fast-paced environment

Warehouse experience is an asset
