The Corporate Development team within TELUS Health leads the development and execution of our M&A and Partnerships strategy. This serves as an important building block for TELUS Health’s ambitious growth plan. The integration team within Corporate Development supports the realization of the acquisition business case by enabling integration efforts. Ongoing change management and process improvement are required to realize our vision of scaled growth.
Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together
This is a newly created TELUS Health role, dedicated to Post Acquisition Integration (PAI). The Senior Process Improvement Consultant facilitates the integration activities of key functional areas and liaises with newly acquired teams to enable a successful transition. You will work on process improvement projects related to post-acquisition integration using world-class methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma. This role involves significant review of existing workflows and subsequent design and implementation of new ones to enable smooth operations.
Here’s how:
Facilitate integration of post Merger & Acquisition activities focused on functional areas as required such as information technology, human resources, legal, finance, billing and operations
Work side-by-side with the Business Unit lead to meet integration requirements including supporting the delivery of necessary reports/Key Performance Indicators
Provide consulting to Business Unit lead to problem solve challenges and implement process improvements between Business Unit and functional areas
Focus on enabling efficient and effective integration while supporting the achievement of PAI priorities
Lead cross-functional teams and execute on PAI tasks with support from the Business Unit lead
Provide guidance and direction, and translation of impacts and requirements of PAI activities
You’re the missing piece of the puzzle:
A graduate or undergraduate degree
7 to 10+ years of relevant experience in a process improvement role
Have worked with one or more TELUS shared services such as human resources, legal, finance, billing, operations and/or IT
Possess in-depth knowledge and workings of various processes and stakeholders in TELUS Health and TELUS shared services to support navigation of the TELUS ecosystem
Demonstrate strong knowledge of business analytical frameworks, project management, and process methodology
Understanding of M&A process and post-acquisition requirements
Ability to understand complex problems and situations and formulate solutions based on the context within TELUS Health
Nice to haves:
Nice to have advanced/recognized job specific certification or equivalent experience: e.g. Six Sigma Master Black Belt, process improvement certification, CPA, CMA, or CGA
