Job description: Our Oil & Gas client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support IT/OT activities related to a large Field Technology Integration Project.
This is an initial 9-month contract with the ideal candidate located in the Edmonton region (Strathcona County).
Must-Have Skills:
- 7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience working on major capital projects and/or in a major field facility
- Experience working with Operations resources and Operation Technology systems (not critical control)
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices for service desk tickets and escalations
- Requirements gathering, RACI, testing and support model development experience
- Experience mapping out transition to operations and process map definition creation
- MSDS, CSTS, WHMIS Certifications or willingness to certify if you not have these credentials
Responsibilities Overview:
- Take direction from and interface with field technology Project Manager. Interface with other team members.
- Assist in information and requirements gathering for new technologies being employed at field site
- Interface with Operations team members on technology use and support requirements
- Assist in the creation of RACI’s for the support of field technology
- Create knowledge articles for the ITSM (IT Service Management) solution
- Support other training material and communication material development as required
- Support investigation and resolution of ad-hoc challenges and issues as requested by IT project managers or IT managements
Specialization and Skills: Business Analysis Business Analyst 5 – 7 years
Priority Requirements: Detail the last 2-3 projects in which you were a Senior Business Analyst supporting IT/OT activities related to a large Field Technology Integration Project. (Must-have)
Do you have your MSDS, CSTS, and WHMIS Certifications? Do you have field PPE equipment? If not, are you willing to get them? (Must-have)
