Description:

An Undergraduate Nursing Employee (UNE) position provides an opportunity for a UNE to develop further competency in the range and complexity of Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) practice. The nursing activities performed and level of supervision required is determined by legislation, standards of supervision outlined by professional associations, AHS and competency of the UNE. You will be guided by your education, experience and demonstrated skill level to play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Required Qualifications:

Current and active enrollment in an accredited nursing education program leading to initial entry to practice as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse. Completed a minimum of 450 hours of clinical practice in an accredited nursing education program. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support – Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
