Job description: Graduate Data Analyst

As a Graduate Data Analyst, you will work on deep data analysis and consolidate structured information to support the strategic decisions related to all Southern America operations (Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay). You will interact with various teams from different countries to better understand the services, and directly contribute to operational improvement initiatives.
Reporting directly to a Service Operations Director located in Brazil, you will be part of the Service Global Operations team in the AME region. You will be located in Montreal, with constant remote interaction with teams from Southern America.

What you will do

Generate measurable Data and provide interpretation and insights:

• Data cleaning and preparation: to extract data from one or more sources and prepare the data so it is ready for numerical and categorical analysis. To handle missing and inconsistent data that may affect the analysis.

• Data analysis and exploration: to take operational questions or needs and turn them into data questions. To transform and analyse data to extract answers to those questions.
• Data visualizations: to create clean, visually compelling charts that will help others understand the data, avoiding things that are either difficult to interpret or can be misleading.
• To look to find interesting trends or relationships in the data that could bring value to the service operations.
• To look for patterns and blips in the data, finding improvement opportunities.
• To generate internal reports and/or dashboards (including monthly operational report for each airport), and reports to be used in customer presentations illustrating the operations performance and behaviour.

Qualifications

Who you are

• Must have a Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent in-country qualification.
• Strong quantitative analysis background
• Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a strong plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven ability to work in multiple high priority tasks at once
• Detail oriented
• High degree of proficiency in Excel / PowerBI
• Highly organized to achieve objectives, with the strong ability to convey complex information to its peers, who may not be technical or financial oriented.
• Knowledge of Information Technology and Telecommunications is a plus
• ITIL Foundation Certificate is desirable
