Crop Intelligence is an innovative software application that utilizes in-field sensor data to deliver meaningful insights, and support data-driven decisions on farms throughout Western Canada. Duties Include:
Provide high-level, in-depth agronomy, precision ag technology support, and implementation to a designated group of farm customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, other agronomists, and influential industry partners to support the interpretation and application of Crop Intelligence & precision ag data
Deliver technical training, and regular communication updates for customers and other interested parties
Support the sale and maintenance of in-field weather station equipment
Support the promotion and adoption of the John Deere Equipment & Precision Ag Technologies

Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of a BSc Degree or equivalent in Agriculture or related discipline and experience in Agronomy
CCA, PAg designation preferred
Possess a high level of understanding of regional agronomic challenges and technical knowledge
Advanced computer and database skills
Excellent organization and time management
Self-motivated individual who can work independently and has the initiative to take on a project from start to finish
Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player
Strong conflict resolution skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Willingness to learn new skills and adopt new technologies
Travel will be required
