General Accountability:
The Customer Care Representative is responsible for ensuring that all incoming calls are received and directed appropriately and on a timely basis. The incumbent is also responsible for greeting facility guests and for handling incoming calls in a professional manner, including customer account inquiries, pricing questions and product orders. In addition, the Customer Care Representative processes customer payments and performs administrative functions as directed.
Specific Accountabilities:
Receives in-coming telephone calls in a pleasant and professional manner, and minimizes the amount of time the caller waits and the number of people the caller is directed to.
Greets customers and guests in a pleasant and professional manner.
Handles customer account inquiries, pricing questions, and product orders.
Manages requests for new account setups and closures.
Acts as a liaison between the customer and the appropriate field personnel.
Processes customer payments in accordance to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards, and responsible for closing the POS system on a daily basis.
Prepares customer credit notes.
Conducts outgoing customer calls as assigned.
Ordering of supplies for the SWO office: Staples, Xerox, etc.
Receives courier and special delivery packages and notifies appropriate personnel of their arrival.
Provides assistance to service and regulations for administrative support.
Sorts and distributes mail on a timely basis.
Maintains confidential records, as assigned.
Maintains all files in current and organized manner.
Understands and complies with the established Health and Safety and environmental policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Indoors in an air conditioned environment, with minimal physical effort required. The position answers a considerable number of calls per hour.

Secondary school diploma (minimum)
Word processing / Excel skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Professional telephone skills and ability to provide high level of customer service.
