Job title: Part-Time Academic (AGRI 4001 – Agriculture, Food & Well Being)
Job description: Although the Home campus is Truro, Nova Scotia – No requirement to be on campus.
The instructor will teach AGRI 4001 – Agriculture, Food & Well Being for the period of January – April 2022. The instructor can expect to teach 3 hours of lecture per week via Distance Learning/Online Delivery. The instructor will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the class, including lectures, test and exam preparation and evaluation. The position reports to the Chair of the Department
Note: Current instructor has indicated they will share the Brightspace teaching materials for the course.
Qualifications/Requirements of Position
Teaching experience at a University Level an asset; at least a Masters degree in a relevant area: Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and excellent interpersonal skills with students and Faculty.
Salary Range/Pay Rate Per CUPE Collective Agreement
