Position Summary
We currently have a relief part time (0.77 FTE) Registered Nurse (RN) opening at the Kelowna General Hospital-4West. This relief is until May 31, 2022 or return of the incumbent.

What will you work on?
The successful candidate will work within a cohesive team and bring enthusiasm, adaptability and exceptional critical thinking skills to 4West-Surgical. This is a fast-paced, high turnover, 36 bed (plus 1 overflow beds) orthopedic and neurosurgery and trauma unit. 4W is team based nursing with RN/LPN teams plus a float LPN on both days and night shifts. As a member of our interdisciplinary team you will work collaboratively to provide pre and post-surgical nursing care to this patient population.
This position will work rotating days and nights and shifts are from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 hours.

Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience:
- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
