Job description: Position Summary…Based in the National office, this role will serve as the liaison between Logistics and Store Operations Nationally. This role will monitor operational performance to proactively address issues or capture opportunities to improve service to Stores. This role will also help to communicate and educate Store Operations on Logistical constraints, and vice versa.What you’ll do…

Highly accessible first point of contact for Store Operations to address any chronic Logistics related Store concerns. Escalation point for specific Store service events.

Immersed within the Store Operations team to identify opportunities for service enhancement and/or cost reduction. Conducting regular store visits and attending Store Operations meetings.

Act as the voice of Stores to the Logistics organization.

Special Events: Oversees all special event planning and execution including trailer management and tracking, stores delivery window management, store refrigerated trailer procurement, and all internal communication and special reports (Stores, SSC, and carriers).

Data mining and reporting: Responsible for all related data mining and service level reporting: 2X’s daily flash reports, weekend summary reports, off-schedule trailers, regional tracking and reporting, business risk resolution-escalation and tracking.

Managing performance of DC, Transportation and Store Operations to comply with the parameters of the Service Level Agreement.

Providing visibility and understanding to stores of Logistics constraints/challenges and vice versa. Minimum Qualifications…
