Join our team and be part of helping our students take the lead not only into the future, but today. Agriculture Continuing Education Coordinator – 1295 Key Responsibilities• Develop continuing education courses and programs (certificate/contract training/short courses/on-line) to meet the needs of business, industry and the community for the agriculture and animal health industries• Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with agriculture businesses, industry and community organizations to identify and assess training needs and opportunities• Plan, develop and implement marketing and advertising strategies to promote courses and programs• Develop and manage budgets, revenue and expenses for continuing education programs• Responsible for the recruitment, hiring, orientation and performance management of curriculum development and instructional staff for continuing education programming Job Requirements• Preferably a diploma in an agriculture discipline or a related field• Experience in developing and delivering educational training programs• Knowledgeable and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Comfortable with social media such as Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram, etc• Strong interpersonal, networking and communication skills Keys to Your Success• Self-motivated; ability to work with minimal direction to prioritize and execute tasks; professional accountability• Effective goal setting with solid organizational and planning skills• Demonstrates a positive attitude; ability to lead and motivate others and be committed to collaboration Additional Information This is a Full-time Permanent AUPE appointment on the Vermilion campus commencing as soon as possible. The current salary range is $54,882 – $69,164 per annum and includes a generous benefit package and pension plan.
