At our Agropur Milk Plant in Edmonton

This position may be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility, shipping, operating a variety of production equipment and any chemical testing required. Previous experience in the dairy industry is an asset but not a requirement.

The Edmonton Milk Plant is a 24 hour facility and as a result shift times may vary and include weekend AM and PM shifts.
The hourly wage is $24.04 per hour

Requirements:

• Physical Requirements for this position include bending, twisting, and heavy lifting up to 65 lbs.
• Candidates must understand and follow plant policies and procedures including but not limited to: Becoming educated with all plant procedures such as safety training, handling of chemicals (WHIMIS), pallet truck usage ,good manufacturing practices (GMP’S), using personal protective equipment (PPE), HACCP training,
• The ability to perform other tasks when needed.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Understand and follow plant policies and procedures including but not limited to: To become educated with all plant procedures such as safety training, handling of chemicals (WHIMIS), pallet truck, good manufacturing practices (GMP’S), personal protective equipment (PPE),and HACCP and M&W training.
• Must be available for weekend morning shifts.
• This position is responsible for stacking and piling products on pallets and preparing them for shipment using various kinds of equipment for packaging while following specific set of standards and requirements.
• Previous experience with a power jack and/or forklift and food production experience are an asset.
