Reports to the Manager, Advanced Process Control (APC).
What you will do:
- Support potash sites optimize industrial processes with our Control Loop Performance Management program
- Capture, manage and document changes with Management of Change processes
- Collaborate with site and central resources as well as vendors to develop APC new projects, including benefit analyses and building key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Assist in rollout of site projects under the APC portfolio
- Exact responsibilities will be tailored to the skills and interests of the successful candidate
What you will bring:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution in a mining engineering program and returning to full-time studies after the work term
- Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and presentation skills
- Must be motivated and able to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment, exhibit strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal/relationship skills – able to work and communicate with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization, written and oral
- Previous experience with any of the following would be an asset: mineral/resource processing, process control systems, data historians, process data analysis or analytics, human-centered design, human-machine interfaces
