Summer Student, Laboratory Technician – (Redwater, Alberta, Canada)

This is a summer student position lasting approximately 16 weeks.

What you will do:

• Laboratory bench work

Physical and chemical testing of nitrogen fertilizers * Groundwater sampling and testing, grass sampling and various environmental tasks and testing

What you will bring:

• Enrolled in a Science program (Chemical Technology or Chemistry)
• Competence in standard Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Class 5 Drivers License
• Previous related work experience at Nutrien or in another industrial setting is preferred
• Confirmation of registration in a post-secondary institution in a degree or diploma program in Fall 2021
• Self-motivated attitude along with the ability to pay close attention to detail and have a strong ability to work individually as well as in a team setting
