OpenRoad Auto Group is currently seeking to expand our team with a Full-time General Accounting Associate at our Head Office in Richmond.

Your contribution:

• To champion OpenRoad’s Climate Goals
• Post vehicle sales transactions onto GL.
• Reconcile vehicle sale schedules and prepare monthly warranty remittances
• Work closely with dealerships on accounting process matters
• Track payments and receipts between dealership and manufacturer
• Month end and year end closing
• Financial statement preparation and analysis
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management

What it takes to be part of our dynamic team:

• Minimum 3 years of full cycle accounting experience
• Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of financial statements
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
• Able to process high volume of transactions efficiently
• Self-disciplined in an autonomous work environment
• Exhibit exemplary problem-solving, time management, and communication skills
• Previous automotive experience and knowledge of CDK is preferred.
