Job Description

Maintain a safe work environment for guests and coworkers alike. With your knowledge of safety regulations and equipment, you will make a productive contribution to our team.

Attend to multiple technician-related issues at a time. You’ll be juggling multiple store needs, such as fixing cupboards, painting, tending to store equipment and appliances.

Take pride in repairing the décor and equipment. Leveraging your mechanically inclined nature, and having a working knowledge of general repair (electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC, etc.)

Qualifications

You’re a curious, diligent, and proactive individual, who requires minimum supervision. You love to see how things work and are fascinated by the intricacies of objects. You’re good with your hands and mechanically adept. You’d rather do a job right the first time, than do it twice. You know when a piece of equipment needs to be replaced rather than repaired.

Minimum requirements:

• Reliable transportation (valid driver’s license and access to a motor vehicle).
• Willingness to travel throughout the Niagara Region
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and move/carry/lift equipment and devices
• CSA approved footwear is required.
• Ability to be on-call
• Ability to communicate, electronically and face to face
• Certifications are a plus
