Job description: Our Insurance client in Waterloo is looking for an IT Manager with experience managing networks and Data Centers in a MS Windows environment

Location: Waterloo
During Covid there is an office rotation where you will be on site 1-2 days per week.
All Covid -19 Public Health protocols are being followed

Must Haves:

• 8+ years in Network and systems administration
• Experience managing Network and Data Centers
• Vendor Management experience
• Experience with MS Windows environments

Nice to Have:

• Experience transitions infrastructure from on Prem to cloud environment
• Network and software security management
• Team Lead or Management experience
• Insurance industry experience

Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to

• Managing a team of 3 resources
• Working with VP/CIO to reduce and simplify Infrastructure footprint
• Support migration of email servers to Office 365 Premium
• Running regular checks on network and data security
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
• Providing direction for IT team members
