Job description: Our oil and gas client in Calgary is seeking a Jr. Power BI Reporting Analyst to identify requirements then build and modify reports using data from ServiceNow and other various IT sources on a 4-6 month contract.

Must-Have Qualications:

• 2+yrs overall experience in a client-facing role collaborating with business and IT stakeholders/teams
• 2+yrs analytical experience building PowerBI reports that convey data in way that is easy to understand
• Conceptual understanding of Enterprise Data Warehouses
• Experience providing basic training on accessing and using reports
• Strong writing and editing skills to deliver textual content in reports

Nice-to-have Qualications:

• Experience extracting data from ServiceNow
• Experience migrating data into a Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Experience working in an Microsoft Azure environment previously

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with stakeholders to identify requirements for reports using data from ServiceNow and other IT sources
• Build and modify reports based on stakeholder requirements using the appropriate technology
• Provide training to stakeholders on using and modifying the reports
• Support work with IT teams to consolidate data in the Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Track and suggest improvements to data quality and format
