The Logistics Manager will be responsible for improving the performance and efficiency of day to day operations within the organization. The ideal candidate for this role will have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative and effectively communicate with all departments and staff members.

What the Logistics Manager does:

• Oversees transportation and logistics operations to ensure products arrive in a timely manner and in excellent condition
• Works with executive management to create a capital purchases strategy for equipment and vehicles
• Provides employees with clear direction of duties and requirements
• Implements innovative business solutions that will boost growth within the organization
• Work with other department to develop best practices
• Tracks performance metrics and conducts performance evalutions

What the company will expect from you:

• Previous management experience in the Logistics space
• Preference for CCLP or Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related
• Transportation expertise with experience in carrier selection and rate and contract negotiation
• Superb analytical and organizational skills
• Exceptional communicator, both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple ongoing critical deadlines
• Advance proficiency with the MS Suite and TMS
