Liebherr is seeking a dedicated HVAC Assistant to join our growing team! We are a proud supplier for the transportation industry, supplying various air conditioning and hydraulic systems for rail vehicles. This entry-level position will be working within our Aerospace division to perform maintenance on the HVAC units servicing both our Mississauga & Burlington location.

Responsibilities

• Check, inspect, pressure wash and test for optimized performance
• Regularly move the HVAC units and components as needed
• Accurately complete inspection reports in a timely manner
• Carry out minimal HVAC Modifications (FMI) as required
• Work collectively with team members to correspond details and escalate complex modifications as required
• Other duties as assigned

Competencies

• 1-2 years’ experience in general labor, warehouse, or mechanic shop. 1-2 years HVAC experience strongly preferred
• High school completion or greater required
• You make safety a habit; while being physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and able to use hand tools, power tools and equipment.
• You communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Demonstrated thirst for knowledge and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office & Excel
• Valid driver’s license is required. Flexibility to drive between Burlington & Mississauga is required
