Job Description
The Finance Sr Enterprise Architect will be responsible for applying business and technical expertise to design, implement and support new business capabilities strategic to Finance & Treasury’s long-term growth. Supporting Finance & Treasury you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and management of the current and target state of architecture in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborating with Finance and Treasury teams to identify and drive opportunities for architecture alignment and reuse between Finance & Treasury and other functions
Supporting and driving definition of key aspects of the strategic architecture, identifying and resolving gaps or key issues
Works with executives from various groups to provide architectural recommendations & guidance as well as executive-level presentations at the enterprise level.
Providing architectural direction and communicating architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies.
Delivers architectural initiatives that drive revenue and improve efficiency to align with business strategy.
Partners with broader stakeholders in technology and business in defining architecture possibilities and future.
Identifies risks or issues with technology solution & design which may impact realization of project benefits and provides guidance and support to stakeholders in making good decisions to pro-actively resolve or mitigate potential risks/delays to the project
Identifies and researches relevant technologies, performs proof of concepts/prototypes, and recommends applications of such technologies to future product architectures.
Analyzes and designs viable solutions to high complexity business problems according to user specifications.
Ensuring the quality and consistency of architecture artefacts across the embedded architecture domains (e.g. system flows, data flows, conceptual designs, and application/information models)
Contributing to standards, policies, best architectural practise and the process to govern against these standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, (or related) or the equivalent in work experience
Finance knowledge to assess impact of applied technology on financial business processes
Expert knowledge of computer or network systems hardware and software theory, practice, concepts and technology relevant to organizational vision
Proven experience in architecting and designing mission critical systems
Demonstrates expert knowledge of design and analysis methodology and application development processes
Possesses a deep understanding and problem solving ability of Information Technology of various scale, degree and dimension of complexity
Prior experience with digital transformation of legacy applications
Proficient in the techniques that go into producing designs of complex systems, including requirements discovery and analysis, formulation of solution context, identification of solution alternatives and their assessment, technology selection, and design configuration
