We are currently looking for a logistics coordinator for a company in the food industry! Company offers great benefits and work/life balance!

What you’ll be doing:

Negotiate transportation prices;

Dispatch and track shipments via ocean and over the road transit

Prioritize shipments based on urgency or importance;

Obtain information on the pick-up and delivery environment for each shipment;

Find solutions to various logistical problems that may arise before and during the movement of goods;

Act as a link between customers and the various teams in the company;

Ensures that customer requirements are met in the service offering;

Follow up on shipments with suppliers and customers;

Make appointments for carriers;

Ensure that all the necessary documents are available for customs clearance during cross-border movements;

Manage customer complaints;

Complete all charters and records required by customer agreements;

What you need:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the transportation field

Strong Microsoft office skills

Bilingual (English – French) spoken and written

Excellent knowledge of the transportation industry

Great communication skills
