YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, release and monitor the delivery of materials and parts required for production; all to meet production schedules and keep inventories to a minimum using just-in-time principles. You will be at the heart of the action and work with suppliers and internal customers such as handling, transportation, supply, engineering and quality assurance teams.Planning and monitoring parts deliveries;
- Intervene with suppliers and carriers to find creative solutions to avoid production stoppages;
- Analyze the best strategies to meet just-in-time objectives;
- Manage commercial relations with suppliers while negotiating in the interest of BRP;
- Identify and coordinate improvement opportunities in relation to the team’s objectives;
- Establish a turnaround plan for suppliers and meet with them as needed.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in administration, operations management or any other related field or DEC in administration or any other related field with 18 months to 3 years of experience;
- Fluency in French and English both oral and written (⅘);
- In-depth knowledge of the Windows environment (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and SAP software;
- Autonomy and leadership;
- Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment;
- Good management of priorities and ability to work in a team;
- Excellent communicator, good analytical skills and negotiation skills.
