Job description: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced respite worker/nanny to provide after-school support for our 13-year-old daughter. Our daughter has Autism and requires supervision and care in a supportive environment. About Our Daughter:
Our daughter is a 13-year-old girl with a unique perspective on the world. She is verbal and is independent in attending to her personal needs.
She is creative and enjoys expressing herself through art and crafts.
Routine and consistency are essential for her comfort and well-being.
She loves going for walks and exploring the neighborhood, and these activities greatly contribute to her sense of exploration.
Responsibilities: Pick up our daughter from the school bus drop-off point under the condo.
Help her get settled at home with a snack.
Engage her in art activities and assist with homework.
Take her for walks around the neighborhood.
Provide a safe and nurturing environment.
Preferred Hours:
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday
Afternoons only: 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Qualifications:
Previous experience working with special needs children.
Valid vulnerability police clearance
Skills and Attributes:
Compassionate and patient, especially with special needs children
Excellent communication skills
Female candidates preferred.

Hourly wage: $18 – $20 per hour
