Job Summary
Driving growth in our cloud business by identifying, driving, and delivering solutions on AWS to Public Sector customers, by enabling AWS FSxN business and expanding AWS/NetApp presence across , in a sell to and through motion.
We are looking for a strong addition to our team, as we continue to raise the bar of our collective expertise, and contribution in growing the NetApp cloud business as we align and live out AWS Leadership principles in our day to day.
Job Requirements
- Understand the Public Sector landscape, including knowing how FSI’s and Government Partners create profitable Consulting and Managed Services offerings via government contract vehicles.
- Develop strategies that include embedding an AWS service, Amazon FSxN, which utilizes market leading NetApp’s OnTAP File Operating System technology at the heart of it, into those offerings.
- Driving Amazon FSxN enablement into the broader Public Sector community of Centers of Excellence, such as AWS Solution Architects/Engineers, Developers, DevOps, AI/ML, BC/DR, VMware, SAP, Data Base, Support, and Operations specialists, so they know where and how to include Amazon FSxN into customer use cases, workloads, and/or applications.
- Partner with Public Sector Account Teams that are concentrating on the broader NetApp products and services portfolio.
- Develop and deliver presentations and coordinate high-level functional product demonstrations to new and existing accounts, both remotely and face-to-face.
- Collaborate with a technical counterpart (Solution Architect) in the development of the EMEA Public Sector AWS Business.
- Increase partner and cross-team literacy of Amazon FSxN through webinars, enablement campaigns, and customer propensity analysis.
- Ability to proactively collaborate with colleagues and peers, across NetApp, AWS, Technology Partners and pilot customers to develop strategies that drive opportunity and revenue.
- Desire and commitment to learn and develop skills and to be an active member of a diverse, ambitious, and growing team.
- Ensuring that the business is accurately represented through good record keeping, leveraging CRM systems.
- Experience working with AWS or in the AWS Public Sector ecosystem.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification is a plus.
- Comfortable traveling to meet with customers face to face, to meet the needs of the business.
- Comfortable giving feedback to the business about areas of possible improvement as we continuously look for our own growth opportunities.
Experience
We would expect the candidate to have 10 years selling experience, ideally with an understanding of AWS or , Infrastructure, Storage, Managed or Professional Services; with a good understanding of the Public Cloud marketplace, and an outstanding knowledge of Public Sector sales processes, operations and models. Strong sales and enablement skills are a priority. Ideally, a candidate will have experience working with various types of Public Sector customers (Federal, State & Local Government, Education, Healthcare, etc.), across multiple countries in the EMEA region.
