Job description: We are currently searching for a Restaurant Supervisor on behalf of our client, to oversee the daily operations of their dining establishment, ensuring exceptional customer service and the smooth functioning of the restaurant. If you have a passion for the culinary industry and strong leadership skills, we’d like to introduce you to this supervisory role in hospitality.

Requirements-

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work setting-

Hotel, motel, resort

Tasks-

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high standard of food preparation and service.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies to meet operational needs and maintain sufficient stock levels.
• Ensure food service and quality control meet our established standards and promptly address any deviations.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to aid in inventory management and cost control.
• Prepare and submit reports to the management team as required.
• Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure timely food preparation.
• Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure accuracy and presentation.
• Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys to customers’ tables.
• Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operation.
