The Role

Responsibilities

The successful Proponent will be responsible for the following services in support of the ERP project:

• Requirements Gathering:

o As required, collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend needs and pain points.

o As required, gather detailed information about existing processes and data structures.

• Process Mapping and Analysis:

o Map out existing processes to uncover inefficiencies.

o Define optimized processes that the ERP should support.

• Gap Analysis:

o Identify gaps between current and desired states.

o Recommend customization or development solutions.

• Solution Design:

o Translate requirements into solution design specifications.

o Work with solution architects and developers for alignment.

o Oversee customization for unique business needs.

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT):

o Collaborate on test scenario creation and test scripts. Validate ERP system against requirements with users.

• Change Management:

o Assist in managing process and workflow changes and identifying areas for formal change management processes.

o Address concerns and manage user expectations.

• Continuous Improvement:

o Gather user feedback and monitor system performance.

o Identify enhancement opportunities and optimizations.

• Post-Implementation Support:

o Address issues, fine-tune configurations, and resolve problems.

o Ensure ERP system meets anticipated benefits listed above.

• Ad-Hoc:

o Other duties as required to assist in preparing for the ERP implementation and support as required beyond the ERP implementation period. Duties may include the above listed as well as project management, analysis, reporting and solutions support for business, process, workflow and system operations

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years within the past 10 years of experience providing services of a similar scope and complexity, preferably with public sector clients.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with stakeholders;
• Analytical mindset for process mapping and gap analysis;
• Technical acumen to translate business needs into design;
• Adaptability to changing requirements and environments; and Preferably past experience with ERPs, in particular HR, Payroll and Finance functionality;
