Mogo is looking for a highly curious and motivated Digital Analyst to join our Digital Analytics team. You’ll partner closely with our internal teams in product management, design, development, marketing and engineering to provide accurate, timely, and actionable insight into all aspects of online visitor and customer behaviour.

What you’ll do:
- Transform raw data into actionable insights that address business questions, issues, and opportunities like improved engagement, conversions and revenue.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of a complete customer view by integrating data from multiple sources like website, native apps, marketing analytics and back end customer data.
- Assist in building and deploying reliable marketing attribution models and reporting that account for multi-channel and multi-device user behaviour.
- Communicate analytics findings and actionable recommendations in a manner tailored to the target audience. Regularly present to senior stakeholders.
- Design, develop, and maintain core actionable digital analytics reports (including visitor behaviour, funnel and conversion reports, etc.) to support marketing, product development and front end application development at Mogo.
- Monitor data quality using statistical techniques to improve confidence in the data used for analysis
- Work with marketing, product and design teams to develop A/B and multivariate testing strategies to understand the online customer experience. Mogo is dedicated to continuously testing, measuring and improving online creative content, and provide post-test analyses.
- Provide training on data context and meaning to business audiences to educate users on how to use data.
- Evaluate and make recommendations for new analytics technologies through research to develop and support evolving digital analytics business needs.
- Gather business requirements and assist in creating technical specifications for analytics implementation.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelors (or Master’s) Degree in Business, Finance, Math, Statistics, Sciences, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering or other related fields with emphasis in quantitative methods.
- 3+ years’ experience in digital analytics.
- Experience in digital analytics requirements gathering, solution design and implementation; solid experience in the area of online visitor intelligence / behaviour, tracking/tagging
- Hands-on experience working with an enterprise digital analytics platform required; Google Analytics preferred
- Excellent understanding of Email, SEO, SEM, Display, Mobile and Social platforms and the ability to integrate these data sources into a cohesive report.
- Knowledge of and experience with designing and interpreting statistically-valid site and site-related A/B tests using tools like Optimizely, Adobe Test and Target, Google Optimize, Taplytics, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL and Excel.
- Experience with business intelligence, data visualization and report automation tools; experience with Looker is a plus
- Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing and web technology (HTML, CSS, cookies, redirection, iframe…)
- Knowledge of the Google Analytics APIs and integrating Google Analytics with a CRM.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript and ability to debug Google Analytics implementation is a plus.
- Tag Management solutions knowledge a plus
- Strong quantitative and qualitative skills, and experience utilizing scientific analytic methods
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work and priorities.
- Ability to clearly communicate with and persuasively present to a wide variety of audiences.
- Attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills.
