As a National Sales Account Manager for our soil lab services your key responsibilities will be:
- Develops and executes area sales plans that include specific targets, strategies, and tactics
- Fosters existing and builds new accounts relationships in line with business growth objectives
- Oversees day-to-day relationships with ag retails, cooperatives, lawn and garden centres, producers and other customers
- Works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to find solutions to customer needs
- Prepares and presents professional and well researched presentations that clearly demonstrate value of Farmers Edge lab services in line with customer needs
- Contributes to the overall national sales strategy by providing accurate data on existing accounts, market research and other customer specific insights
- Monitors and regularly reports on applicable performance metrics, and performs daily updates and maintenance to customer tracking system
- Attends customer and industry events as needed
- Other duties as assigned
We’d love to see:
- 5+ years of sales and account management experience, preferably with a B2B focus in fertility, laboratory or other agriculture area related sales.
- Diploma or degree in agriculture or related field preferred
- Ideally understands agronomy, fertility and farming practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong business relationships
- Ability to creatively problem solve and work in an agile environment
- Strong financial acumen, and the ability to develop compelling sales presentations
Ideally the hired Team Member will be working from home within Manitoba or Saskatchewan, with flexibility to travel.
