Key responsibilities of this Finance Specialist position include:
- Process, reconcile and prepare financial accounts and reporting packages in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare journal entries to the various General Ledgers
- Processes reconciliations including balance sheet, bank, AP, AR, Payroll and Tax
- Process AP invoices and goods received documents and ensure timely payments of vendor invoices
- Review, approve and process Concur expense reports
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements for internal and external purposes
- Prepare and reconcile monthly GST/HST tax reports/remittances
- Work with tax accountants to review and finalize tax filings
- Provide variance analysis
- Prepare working papers for audit and year end reporting packages
- Participate in special projects and analysis as required

Job Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business
- CPA designated or designation in progress
- Experience with SAP
- Strong Excel skills
- Tax experience including Canadian GST/HST and CRA Corporate Tax Filings
- US Tax experience an asset
- Someone who is hands on, a self starter and not afraid to ask questions
- Analytical and is a problem solver
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communications
