Job title: Construction Worker
Job description: Appoint Staffing is looking to hire a Stone (Granite & Quartz) Counter Top Installer Helper for one of its clients in Mississauga. Experience is preferred but not mandatory. Training will be provided.
Pay rate: $18.00-22.00 per hour
Shift Start time- 7: 00 am
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
Roles and responsibilities:
- Installing stone counter tops in people’s homes with a helper or being the second man on a crew
- polishing stone
- knowledge in basic stone repair
- stone cutting and shaping
- use grinder or drill
- Detailed understanding of the tools that are used to install natural &
- engineered Stones
- Measurement/ Basic Math Skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Fluent in English
- Punctuality is a MUST, We begin work at 7:00am
- Willing to work LATE occasionally if production schedule requires.
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environments
- Ability to lift at least 100lbs
- Previous stone experience Preferred. individual must be familiar with the
- Above requirements and be able to handle fabrication
