We are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources (HR) Program Coordinator to support various corporate level HR Programs. The Coordinator would be someone who shares our core values of integrity, excellence, respect and creativity.

Reporting to the Manager of Talent Programs, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and support the NRC’s corporate-level talent programs, systems and tools. In partnership with another coordinator, you will be responsible for coordination and administration of programs, processes, and records management for various talent programs, including: recruitment and mobility, leadership & learning, & talent management.

You will provide general support including preparing documents, responding to email enquiries and running various reports from SAP and other platforms. With direction from team leaders, you will help coordinate and support events for small and large groups, support the NRC’s talent attraction initiatives such as corporate recruitment programs, and engagement activities. You will support various programs and initiatives related to talent management, such as succession planning, and workforce planning. You will provide program support to the leadership and learning team, helping to administer learning programs using Successfactors (NRC Talent Management Software) and working with other learning providers and partners. You will also support procurement of various products, courses and service contracts.

Education

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a field related to the position (i.e. business administration, accounting, commerce, etc.). Candidates who have successfully completed their secondary school education according to provincial/territorial standards and have significant experience will also be considered.

Experience

  • Significant and recent experience in providing a wide range of administrative services to clients.
  • Significant experience in coordinating logistical support of internal activities such as events and meetings, including virtual meetings and events.
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office software including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Experience with document management and reporting processes i.e. tracking, consolidating content, data entry, data manipulation, development of reports and analysis and drafting for reporting purposes.
  • Experience with SAP or HR management systems
  • Experience in researching and interpreting policies to provide advice and guidance.

  • Solid knowledge and ability to administer, review and evaluate administrative practices and processes and to propose and implement recommendations to ensure continuous improvement and administrative efficiency.
  • Ability to research and analyze data and prepare various reports and statistical analyses in support of program activity.
  • Ability to use MS Excel proficiently to create, maintain and manipulate reports.

Competency Profile(s)

For this position, the NRC will evaluate candidates using the following competency profile:

Compensation

From $60,143 to $70,963 per annum.

In addition, the incumbent will receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
