As a Client Support Officer, you will be successful actively focused on people; and for employees to make careful considerations between risks and results in the performance of work duties, with the objective to increase and maintain customer confidence in the entire value chain of product development, product distribution and customer advice. Employees within the Rabobank Group are aware of possible risks to the organization in performing their work duties and handle these risks with care.

Client Support Officer (CSO) will support our Relationship Management team in the pre-closing, closing and post-closing of a transaction. The CSO will engage directly with customers and/or prospects to gather information. The CSO will enter the details of the transaction in various systems and forms to prepare for booking and funding. After closing, CSO is responsible for monitoring all actions that are required to maintain the portfolio of transactions.

Job Responsibilities

Support collecting documents required for performing onboarding due diligence, Know Your Customer (KYC) and entering this information in client management systems.

Coordinating the internal approval process and external documentation process (including doc review) for new transactions, renewals, and amendments.

Process transactions into appropriate forms to prepare for Booking, Funding and Servicing

Maintaining a direct dialogue with Relationship Management, Global Service Center, Operations, Compliance, Legal and Credit regarding transaction deals, operational issues and upcoming amendments

Coordinate timelines for Closing transactions with all stakeholders.

Create a client service environment.

Liaise with members of Rabobank Canada and Support teams (Operations (incl. Client on Boarding and Global Service Center), Compliance, Risk, Legal and Finance) to ensure an efficient, effective and sustainable support model for our franchise.

Bachelor’s degree or at least 5+ years in similar role

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to travel regionally, up to 15%

Salary Expectations:

Target Hiring Range: CAD $70,656.00 – $85,000.00

This position is subject to the terms of Rabobank/Rabobank Canada’s compensation plans and policies. It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range. The range is reflective of the desired primary physical work location and may be adjusted outside of the projected range based on geographical differentiation if the actual work location of the hired candidate differs from the desired primary location, or for other lawful reasons. Further, all full-time regular positions include all other benefits provided to Rabobank Canada employees, including healthcare benefits, employer registered pension plan contributions, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, and possible discretionary bonuses.
