What you’ll do
- Efficiently coordinate projects, achieving goals and meeting timelines
- Act as administrative support for the project and/or Project Manager, including meeting preparation, calendar management, and documentation management
- Prepare minutes, agendas, logistics, project deliverables, and other documentation
- Manage project budgets, invoicing, and associated financial documents
- Professionally engage with a wide range stakeholders
- Identify, collect, and analyze project information and provide input and recommendations to project team
- Help dissemination of project information
What you bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Health or Social Sciences, or Business Administration plus 2-3 years in a Project Coordinator or Policy Analyst role in a health, social services, government, or community organization
- High proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Experience working in complex environments within ambiguity
- A high level of resourcefulness and ability to work cohesively in a team
- Strong understanding of practical project management practical skills
- Qualities including: creativity and innovation; sound judgment; tact and diplomacy; ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a demanding and dynamic environment; effective negotiation, conflict management and consensus-building skills; excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada as per TRC (2015) and BC’s Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act (2019).

Job Type: Casual (Full-time hours)
Wage: $29-$36/hour. As a casual employee, total earnings includes an additional 13% in lieu of benefits and paid time off. The rate for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan.
