Role:
Our Client is currently seeking an experienced #300220 IT Project Manager (Contract) for a 12 month contract starting on April 1, 2021. The work may be completed remotely but must reside in Canada for the duration of the project. The ideal candidate will have 8 years’ IT Project Management experience including 5 years of direct experience in: infrastructure upgrades, system management (ie decommissioning scope), and multi year transformational programs. One year PM experience planning and organizing information security services with a focus on internationally recognized security would be an asset. All candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Requirements (Nice to Have):
- 8 years’ experience in a project management role developing project plans and budgets, monitoring project performance against tolerances, and reporting progress to the project steering committee.
- 5 years’ experience as a project manager with direct experience in infrastructure upgrades, system management that includes decommissioning scope.
- 1 year of experience planning and organizing information security services with a focus on internationally recognized security methodologies such as NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), CIS (Centre for internet Security) and/or PCI, (Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council) frameworks.
- 1 year of experience planning and leading a multi-year organizational IT transformation program that consists of several different streams of IT projects including management of multiple vendors.
- 1 year of experience planning and executing infrastructure build and replacement projects with multiple sites (150+) and include telephony rollouts and upgrades.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification (must have)
- PMP certification would be an asset
- Valid Management of Risk certification would be an asset
- Valid Prosci Change Management certification would be an asset
