Role:

Our Client is currently seeking an experienced 500201 IT Project Manager (Contract) in Vancouver, BC starting on or around March 1, 2021 for a Twelve (12) months contract. The ideal candidate will have 10 years IT Project Management experience managing IT projects in Infrastructure upgrade, Hardware refresh, Decommissioning, Application Migrations, and data Migrations within an enterprise level environment. Five years PM experience supporting application integration ie, ERP/eCommerce applications would be an asset. All candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing large sized projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversees the end-to-end daily activity management and delivery of projects.
  • Responsible for the monitoring and reporting on assigned projects.
  • Responsible for engaging IT, vendor and business stakeholders.
  • Responsible for successful delivery of the assigned projects.

Requirements (Nice to Have):

  • 10 years of experience in a PM role developing project plans and budgets, monitoring project performance against tolerances, and reporting progress to the project steering committee.
  • Will have experience directly managing complex IM/IT projects, with a budget exceeding 1 million dollars.
  • 5 year of experience planning and executing IT Infrastructure refresh and upgrade projects that include builds, migrations, and decommissioning of old infrastructure and software within multiple sites.
  • 5 years of experience as project manager deploying multi-environment infrastructure to support large scale middleware and application integrations such as ERP and/or eCommerce applications.
  • 5 years experience managing diverse teams and stakeholders with internal and vendor teams, working with the business to negotiate hardware and software services procurement and contracts.
  • 3 years of experience with processes and solution automation and design.
  • Experience in food/retail/manufacturing environment would be an asset.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada.
  • PMP certification would be an asset.
