Job description:

We are currently supporting a rapidly expanding company specializing in assistance services. In this context, we are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor for a full time and permanent position.

-Delegate and assign all AP tasks to AP Technicians
-Review and sign off on work completed by team of AP Technicians
-Responsible for data accuracy and detail
-Taking on Ad-hoc projects as designated by VP of Finance
-Comfortable developing and enforcing policies
-Confidently leading new methods and procedures (i.e.: automation of key AP functions, sourcing for and implementing scalable solutions and driving continuous improvement)
-Strong attention to detail ensuring that invoices are accurately managed
-Build out Accounts Payable department including implementation of policies, procedures and systems.

Profile description:

YOUR PROFILE

Do you think this job is for you?? It might be if you have:

-3+ years of related accounts payable experience with a solid understanding of all typical AP duties
-Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, accounting, finance or related field
-Proficient with Excel and NAV/Business Central
-Ability to manage up and across
-Able to quickly embrace new procedures, evolving systems and migration to new platforms
-Motivation to develop and maintain internal as well as external relationships
-Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures
-Strong communication skills in both understanding and communicating with various levels of an organization
-The position is scheduled during business hours Monday through Friday and based out of our office located in -Downtown Montreal. The role reports to the Vice President, Finance.
