Our client GRI is seeking a dynamic and meticulous Accountant to join the family office team. Located in the Town of Mount Royal (TMR).

Job Description:
The Accountant will be a member of GRI Capital’s Montreal-based finance and administration team.
Responsibilities include:
– Accounting and bookkeeping
– Preparation of cheques and wire transfers
– Preparation of cash management reports
– GST/QST returns
– Monthly and annual journal entries
– Monthly cash and other reconciliations
– Monthly review of financial statements
– Assistance in the annual preparation of financial statements and year-end files
– Support family office services
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualities and background:
Experience:
– At least 5 years in an accounting role for a finance/accounting department
– Industry experience in investment sector within accounting group a strong asset
Skills and abilities:
– Proficient in Word and Excel
– Well organized
– Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
Personal traits:
– Discreet, reliable and trustworthy
– High degree of energy, initiative, motivation
– Team player, detail oriented
