We are looking for our client, a group located in Ville Saint Laurent, an accounting analyst for the head office.
Job description:
Carry out the entire verification and monitoring process relating to the control of gross margin and inventories in a
daily (inventory adjustment, write-off, supplier complaints, month-end analysis, etc.) for some
distribution centers.
2. Follow up and obtain explanations from the operational teams on the various elements to be analyzed.
3. Produce, verify and post to the general ledger the required adjustment entries.
4. Account for, verify, analyze specific expenses incurred and ensure the application of internal controls.
5. Prepare various general ledger account reconciliations, prepare monthly financial analyzes,
quarterly, annual or ad hoc and explain the variances.
6. Participate in the control tests on the company’s operational processes required under Law 52-109 for
Public companies and by the external auditors in collaboration with other members of the team.
7. Validate certain monthly verification balances and specific accounts of certain divisions of the group which
operate on different accounting systems from the rest of the group as a whole.
8. Respond to questions from the management team and operational teams regarding the analyzes produced and
internal financial statements.
9. Perform all other related tasks at the request of his immediate superior
Profile description:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and month closing in a large company operating
several different sites and legal entities
Work experience in a public company
Experience working with an ERP tool, such as Oracle, SAP, JDE, etc.
Bilingualism
Excellent command of Excel and good command of the MS Office suite
Have business and operational acumen
Have a methodical and analytical mind
Be autonomous and show organization
Sense of priorities and management of deadlines
