Job description: Verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions and otherwise manage accounts;
Prepare General Ledger and reconcile and balance all accounts, make regular deposits, maintain files and manage petty cash expenditures;
Manage online banking transactions and other banking transactions for various company accounts;
Prepare Accounts Payable files and process cheques for signing and distribution
Record all revenues including sales reconciliations from the sales, new transactions, interest, grants and course fees
Follow up with SKLFs accounts payable invoices as needed
Prepare payroll files as needed for approval
Maintain records for taxable benefits
Monitor remittances to Receiver-General for source deductions
Prepare reports and remittances
Monitor cash flow and cash management Reporting
Prepare Financial Statements and reports as required including Balance Sheet, Revenue and Expenditure, Performance to Budget / Variance and Cash Flow
Prepare HST/GST and PST returns
Prepare year end information
Prepare T4A submissions, monitor T4 preparation and distribution
Prepare audit documentation with the management team
Other project based work that may be assigned from time to time.
