Job description: Horizon Recruitment Inc. is conducting a search for an Accounting Manager who can join our client on a 2-3 month contract, working 3 days per week. Our clients is a non-profit that is doing great things around the world. They invest in small businesses, encourage the growth of female-run businesses, and support various environmental initiatives. The Accounting Manager will lead a small team in running the day to day accounting for the organization.

Requirements:

  • A professional designation (CA, CPA, CMA or CGA) is required
  • Hands on, roll up the sleeves professional with a demonstrated track record of success in a similar role
  • Capability, drive and initiative to learn, adapt and execute
  • Solid knowledge of current accounting principles and rules
  • An open and articulate communicator with strong analysis, presentation and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
