Job title: Administrative Assistant
Job description: If you are an energetic and positive “people person” who is known for delivering outstanding customer service, come join our Human Resources team at the District of Squamish! This temporary part time position offers a minimum of 21 hours per week providing a wide variety of clerical, administrative and customer service support to the Human Resources team. There is also a possibility of working additional casual hours as an administrative assistant in other areas in the District, depending on requirements of those opportunities.

Our ideal candidate is efficient, organized, independent, and detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and intermediate to excellent knowledge of the tools in Microsoft Office. Experience with SharePoint is a bonus. A minimum of two years’ experience working in an administrative capacity as well as a certificate in Business Administration or completion of post-secondary course work in a related field is highly desirable.
The duration for this temporary assignment is approximately six months, however there is a possibility of continuation subject to ongoing funding.
