Job description: The B&B Contracting Group possesses a strong reputation in the civil construction industry, having been in operation for over 70 years. We are currently seeking an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and enjoy a flexible role with varying tasks and priorities and will be looking for a long-term and permanent position.
This position reports to the General Manager, B&B Heavy Civil Gas Division. The role provides general administrative support to the Gas Division as well as front desk reception relief coverage.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Administrative duties:
· Filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, etc.
· Managing and scheduling employee/project appointments.
· Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.
· Drafting proposals, letters, and emails.
· Data input.
Reception duties:
· Manage a multi-line switchboard for all incoming calls.
· Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and/or couriers.
· Greeting and assisting visitors to the office.
· Monitoring and ordering office supplies.
· Maintaining general office area; including meeting rooms, copier/supply room, and lunchroom.
Requirements:
· 2 years of administration and/or reception experience
· High attention to detail
· Advanced knowledge of MS Office software
· Ability to manage shifting priorities.
· True team player who is flexible with completing any task to assist team.

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Availability:
Immediate
Compensation:
$18 to $25 per hour, depending on work experience.
