COVID-19 Testing and contact tracing remain an organizational priority in AHS. Public Health, North Zone, in the Community, Rural and Continuing Care portfolio leads testing for symptomatic and asymptomatic cases at a variety of sites in the community. Our Assessment Centre and “Fast Tracks” in the North Zone have a key role in population health and surveillance through the early identification of disease and prevention of the spread of COVID19. The Administrative Support III will support the multi-disciplinary team members within our program. Responsibilities include: preparing client packages in preparation for clients who have self-booked in an appointment online, confirming client demographics and booking client appointments for those unable to self-book in our computer application either by telephone or in person and at drop in; repetitive data and record management; stand, walk, lift, pull, push, bend and carry during your shift; appropriate use of full Personal Protective Equipment between clients; demonstrate strong communication, professionalism and customer service skills; be self-directed; demonstrate critical thinking, time management, confliction resolution, decision-making skills; accurately collect and document information in a timely manner; adaptable in an environment with constant interruptions and short timelines; show accountability and attention to detail; additional duties and responsibilities may be required as per operational needs.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of a post-secondary education i.e. Diploma, certification or undergrad. Ability to sit/stand as well as twisting, bending and reaching for long periods of time for the purpose of data entry or working at the drop-in service. Ability to be adaptable and work in a high pace frequently changing environment. Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service related position within the last 3 years. Experience providing administrative support in a healthcare/medical related setting within the last 3 years. Completion of a Unit Clerk or Medical Office Assistant certificate program. Experience working in the COVID assessment centre. Proficient with computer programs – Outlook, MS Office, Skype, SharePoint.
