The Administrative Support IV is a position that under minimal direction, provides administrative support to the Patient Care Manager and Unit Managers for the Emergency Department at the Peter Lougheed Centre.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields. Additional Required Qualifications:
Diploma in office or business administration with 3-5 yrs of progressive administrative support experience. Recent experience working in a dynamic environment with advanced computer skills including: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point, Adobe Acrobat with keyboard skills of 70 wpm. Strong understanding of ordering processes. Ability to prepare spreadsheets, organizational charts, flow charts, Power Point presentations and graphs. Experience with accounting/reporting software. Ability to compile information and submit well-constructed reports and correspondence. Skilled in taking minutes and summarizing data for distribution. Attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve independently, anticipate needs and take initiative. Demonstrated time management and high organization skills. Ability to exercise judgment, professionalism, diplomacy and discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues. Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills, work effectively within a team environment. Excellent command of the English language both written and spoken. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ESP scheduling program and scheduling related processes or willingness to learn. Indigenous modules. ACE modules. Change management courses.
